A slow year is finally picking up a little speed, and I’m beginning to feel more perky again. Feel like I’m coming out from the state of a zombie after suffering from a case of no energy, no inspiration and just dragging along for the ride.
To get back into shape, I have been working out three-four times a week, receiving various treatments to heal, keeping away from work, and tried to do things that I normally love to do. In between, I’ve had a few concerts here and there, but no touring in sequence. My batteries seem to finally be charging again, and I’m looking forward to getting back in the saddle.
Some of the treatments I’ve been receiving are from my go-to acupuncturist who also does homeopathic treatments as well as neuroreflexology. She is amazing!❤️🙏🏼 Also, I’ve been going to a physical therapist to try to loosen up some of the physical blockages in my body. He is also amazing! I’ve been seeing an incredible speech therapist who turned out to know all there is to know about the classical singing voice - and thus I’m in the middle of a very exciting and inspiring project in trying to accomplish vocal stretches I have never even dreamed of controlling!
Finally, I’ve done a lot of sailing. What a blessing to have introduced this hobby into my life! I have gotten so many wonderful, new friends in sailing, learned so much, and experienced more during these two seasons I’ve been a part of a sailing organization.
A very important part of my life now is my new furry friend, my puppy Chanti. If you have been following me, she is almost scaringly much alike my previous “heart”, Joy. I sometimes catch myself in calling her Joy, but her name is Chanti. Isn’t she just adorable?😍
Coming up now are a few concerts before we dive into another Christmas. For the first time in - I don’t know how many years - I’m NOT doing my own Christmas tour, Julegaven (The Gift of Christmas). However, I will be doing some concerts together with other choirs and bands that I’m much looking forward to.
Please check out my events calendar to see if I’m visiting a place near you: Trine Rein Concerts
I want to thank you all for your patience, and I really hope to see you out there soon again. I miss you!🙏🏼💕
