Midsummer night, and the heat is on!

I looove summer with a passion! June 21st is the longest day of the year, meaning the lightest day before the days begin to get shorter towards winter time. In Norway, we celebrate this day on the 23. of June. This is a major celebration in Sweden, too, as we are both blessed with the midnight sun in some parts of our countries.

So why am I rambling about summer and long days? Well…. It has been a time of contemplation, re-charging and re-grouping for me these first six months of the year. I don’t know if it is a case of long-covid, or a possible burn-out as I hit 2023 with dead batteries. The pandemic with all it’s restrictions and uncertainties definitely took a toll, and I have had to take a really long break from my career as a singer.

Spring and summer with it’s promises of lighter days, new beginnings and the hope of happy times to come have so far helped me to climb back into the saddle. I’ve also got some incredible helpers (angles!) in my life to help me through rough times🙏🏼

Last year, I took up sailing as a hobby, and it has given me a lot of inspiration. I also started on a journey to learn more about real estate investments, and basically shut out everything that had to do with music and concerts in order to make myself miss a life on the road.

Funnily enough, all this happened as I entered into my 30 year anniversary as a solo artist. It wasn’t my plan to be idle for the first six months of this special anniversary, but that’s life, isn’t is?

Now I’m ready to greet my audience again! I got a few upcoming concerts, both solo, and with other crews. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys out there again, and I hope you will take the opportunity to catch my concerts as they will be quite exclusive (as in; few!) this year.

Please see my events calendar for ticket links and more info - and it is my pleasure to wish you all most welcome to my upcoming shows!
